Remote Mixing Session with Crumhorn via Zoom

When George Worthy, aka Crumhorn, contacted Motiv Music for the Audio Engineering of his new album “I Met the Universe Half Way”, Covid-19 restrictions affected our ability to be together in the studio to do the mixing. However, Motiv’s remote collaboration approach allowed the process of mixing to occur with George present via Zoom and listening in high definition stereo over Cleanfeed, providing critical creative direction and feedback throughout the session. Ben Last mixed all 9 tracks of the album this way over about 30 remote sessions! The whole process was seemless and really allow the client to feel present with us during this critical stage of the production process. The album was then mastered in-house by Pete Robinson at Motiv Music Byron Bay.
